Meet Lesley

I’m Lesley Byrne, the Social Democrats Councillor for Dublin’s South-West Inner City.

I’m a secondary school principal and am passionate about education and equality.

I have spent 20 years of my career listening, learning and responding to the real needs of families.

I joined the Social Democrats because I believe that everyone deserves a chance at a good life. Equality is a starting point not an end point.

Lesley’s Priorities

• Working hard to ensure free education for all.
• Improved services – transport, childcare and health.
• Housing – fighting hard for affordable housing in our area.
• Listening to the needs of the community and working hard to address them.
• Advocating for sustainable projects that tackle climate change.
