But first, the Government must ensure that all necessary supports, including counselling services, are made available to the people affected by this. Everyone has the right to know who they are and where they came from. The people affected by this deserve the most proactive response possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have long known that a significant number of illegal adoptions occurred in this country, and the issue of false registration in Mother and Baby Homes is within the terms of reference of the Mother and Baby Home Commission.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Minister for Children and Youth Affairs must commit to full and early disclosure of any similar cases involving other adoption agencies. It is time we had the full truth of what happened.
