Local Election Candidate for Dublin North Inner City

I grew up in and around Ballybough, whereI still live. I am a single parent with three sons, and a grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren.

When my marriage ended, I faced the terror of poverty. Although I am a hairdresser by trade, I decided to return to formal education, and am currently studying for a degree in Trinity College Dublin.

I want to support and represent the people of our community who are my friends and neighbours, especially the vulnerable, and single parents like myself who often face discrimination.

It is with a heavy heart I am hearing the awful news that an old neighbour and family friend has lost their house due to fire. Paula Johnston and her family have been a major part of our community for as long as I can remember. It is only befitting of this family that we rally together as a community and help them to replace what we can possibly replace in such awful circumstances, while thanking God that no one has been physically hurt.

If there is anything I can do to help by way of fundraising or in any other way please contact me.

Absolutely !!!

What a lovely welcome tonight around Clonliffe/Tolka Road area. Many people said they'd only be delighted to vote for one of their own. Thanks to everyone for their help. #Carol4council #LE19 ... See MoreSee Less
