Wilton 0 - Passage 3

The Juniors made it 5 league wins in a row as they secured all 3 points in a very competitive game against Wilton at Pat Bowdren Park this morning.

Passage opened the scoring in the first half with a well taken penalty from Kieran Burke after Tony McCarthy was taken down after a fantastic run down the left.

Killian Murphy made it two with a top corner finish from just outside the box.

Wilton stepped up the pressure in the second half but the Passage defensive unit led by Eoghan Greene was outstanding.

A late penalty from Man of the Match Kieran Burke sealed another important win for the Juniors.

Fantastic team performance with stand out displays from Eoghan Greene, Ryan Carroll and Kieran Burke.

Well done to our coaches Joe, Derek and John who are doing great work with our Juniors this season.

Big Thanks also to Donal Desmond of the Criterion Bar who sponsored the New Away Kit for the Juniors.

The lads looked and played very sharp this morning as they continue their push for promotion to the MSL Junior Premier Division.

Roll on the Next Game !!!

We are now officially open! This evening was our evening of celebration and thanks to all who have helped make Passage West Creates happen. Our most sincere gratitude to Cork County Council and the Local Enterprise Office South Cork for the funding that made this shop creation possible. We hope we have lived up to your faith in us 😉 To John Daly and his family who gave us the use of our dream commercial space. To Aiden O Leary of Celtic Interiors Official who built us wall to wall shelving. To Marc Linehan, always on hand to help us in any and every aspect of carpentry. To Hugh Looney's Signs, whose own creativity, inspiration and advice was invaluable. To Andrew for the fresh colour scheme inside and out. To LB Design & Print for designing all our logos and literature. To Amy Long for her marketing advice and help. To our business and residential neighbours in Passage West town centre who always greet us with a smile and friendship. Thank you so much to all who came this evening. To Cllr Joe Harris, Chair of the Ballincollig-Carrigaline Municipal District and deputising on behalf of The Mayor of the County of Cork, for opening the official bow. To Michael McGrath TD and Cllr Seamus McGrath for coming to celebrate with us. To John Spillane for his music, to Martin collins Photographer for the nicest of the photos below, to the The Carrigdhoun Newspaper and to Andreas from the Baking Emporium Ltd who travelled all the way from Dunmanway to share his magnificent treats. We are so happy with this evening's success and overwhelmed by the goodwill that comes from every direction to our little shop with the big heart 💝

As a member of the deaf community, I felt it was really important for me to be as inclusive of a Cllr as possible which is why I learned ISL and will continue taking lessons until I am as fluent as possible. The deaf community is forgotten about over and over. No more. #ISL

Looking for a progressive and practical candidate in Cork City for #LE19 tomorrow! Look no further than these good people. I have been luck enough to work with them all and know that they would all make excellent city councillors. #voteforchange #socdems

We are calling for an award-winning Council project, Community Budgeting, to be expanded into every local Council. It allows local residents get a direct say on which local projects are funded by the Council. @RoisinShortall explains the initiative
