Candidate for Galway East

Peter is a self-employed web and graphic designer. Peter is married to Jane, and they have two children. Both Peter and Jane were heavily involved in the traditional and folk music scene for many years, and is an active campaigner on community issues in Galway East

Peter wants to see political change and has strong opinions about the lack of a proper housing provision, and about the use of land and property as an asset, rather than as a vital public resource. Peter believes that a European style public transport services are needed.

When he saw the commitment to transparency and honesty that Roisin Shortall and Catherine Murphy have brought to the Social Democrats, and how they reached out to the younger generation, he decided to join the party.

He sees the need for an alternative choice in the Galway East constituency, and believes many of the constituents feel unrepresented by the current conservative TDs.
