Local Area Rep for Ashtown, Dublin
As a resident of Ashtown, Stephen has watched the community grow with new people, shops, parks, a school and facilities.
He has been an active member of a local swimming club and having participated in athletics at a competitive level, Stephen knows the importance of developing local facilities and building community organisations, sports clubs and recreational facilities for the whole community.
Working together, Stephen believes we can create a more inclusive society for our senior citizens, people with disabilities and anyone who feels marginalised or left behind.

Is the Presidential race now truly Undemocratic ?
This post may not be popular in political circles And may do me no favours But I must be honest!
We need to ask is our Society truly Democratic? Or are our faiths almost decided based on the establishment of government, which was set up a century ago by Men in a different time from now and is no longer fit for purpose for Our modern Inclusive Society.
So in this "race" to be President all these super rich people who may have affiliation or may donate to some political parties after being nominated And are spending ridiculous amounts of money, which ultimately will keep others who haven't got millions Out of the race, Who may I add may be more worthy contestants.
Does this sound Undemocratic?
What then, will those political parties do in return for the donations received from these millionaires?
Is this #Democratic and fair for an Election to #Aras2018
Is it time to wrid the Republic of a figure head with no real powers?
When was the last time a President blocked legislation from Government therefore using the limited powers?
Do we need to drag Our political system into reformation that will affect positively More citizens and provide a Fairer more Decent Society.
Ireland is changing and We must be ready to embrace this positive change.
