Social Democrats acting leader Cian O’Callaghan has expressed the party’s deepest condolences at the news of the passing of Brother Kevin Crowley.
Deputy O’Callaghan said:
“Brother Kevin was a champion of Dublin’s most vulnerable. He devoted his life to the service of those in need through his work with the Capuchin Centre, which he founded over fifty years ago.
“On behalf of the Social Democrats, I’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of his family and colleagues.
“Brother Kevin’s life exemplified decency, charity and humanity, a life enriched by the connections he made with everyone he met.
“Today, the whole country is mourning his loss – ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.”
