Meet Caroline

I’m Caroline Winstanley, the Social Democrats Local Election Candidate for Bray West.

I’ve lived in Bray for 12 yearswith my husband & two children. I’m a Speech and Language Therapist who works with autistic people and also works in adult disability.

I’m running for election because I have spent my career making a positive difference to people’s lives by helping them access services and I believe that my experience will make me a strong voice to represent Bray West.

The Council could be doing more, especially when it comes to providing affordable housing, schools and health facilities for our growing communities, and ensuring our amenities are accessible to everyone.

I am approachable, hard-working and capable and I would love the opportunity to represent you on Wicklow County Council.

If elected, I pledge to use my 20 years experience in the disability sector to continue making a real difference to people’s lives.

Caroline’s Priorities

• Prioritise the delivery of social and affordable housing.
• Fight for investment in our schools to enable them to grow with our growing communities.
• Push for better access to local healthcare services.
• Prioritise the development of fully inclusive infrastructure.
• Push for the integration of climate policy at council level.
