Meet Eamonn

I’m Eamonn Horgan, the Social Democrats Councillor for East Cork.

I live in Midleton with my fiancé and daughter and we love the locality.

East Cork has so much going right for it – friendly neighbours, beautiful beaches, fantastic food. But there is so much more to do to improve the area. I wish to make it the best place possible in which to live and raise a family.

I became involved in politics so that I could contribute to building community in East Cork – to fight for services, infrastructure and facilities for all. As an engineer, I hope to be a strong intermediary for the people of East Cork as the area moves forward with flood mitigation and management measures.
