Joan Hopkins

Meet Joan

Joan Hopkins is the Social Democrats councillor for Howth-Malahide on Fingal County Council.

Joan lives and works in Baldoyle as a community development manager for Baldoyle Forum, a registered charity. She is a founding member and chairperson of Baldoyle Tidy Towns.

She has a Masters from UCC in Organisational Behaviour and 20 years experience in banking and finance.

Joan is passionate about biodiversity and making our communities more sustainable and liveable.

Joan grew up working in her family’s local business and wants to support businesses within the community.
