Candidate for Cork North-West

Ciarán lives in Ballincollig with his family, where his two young daughters attend school locally. I work as a barrister and a lecturer.

As someone who was self-employed throughout the recent recession, Ciarán knows only too well how it feels to worry constantly about meeting mortgage repayments and childcare costs.
Ciarán want to use his personal and professional experiences to work to ensure that we all have access to affordable housing, childcare and a functioning health service.
If you have any suggestions about issues affecting you, your family or our community, he would love to hear from you.

“I believe that having transparent politics is extremely important. I am passionate about developing an Anti-Corruption Agency as I know it will ensure that our public bodies are being run properly.”

#Please Read# : Conor is a current pupil of @scoileoinboys in Ballincollig as well as a patient of the Children's Leukemia Ward (St Brigids) at the Mercy hospital. Scoil Eoin hold a Christmas Jumper fundraiser every year and this year they very kindly donated the full amount to Conor's ward in the Mercy. Conor had hoped to join our club last year but was in fact diagnosed in June - I know that Lorraine Wills - Conor’s mum would like to mention in particular the compassion and care they received in very difficult circumstances is unparalleled in Mercy Hospital Foundation Cork. Conor is hoping to make the our tag rugby season in the summer of 2019 I know all of our followers will be willing him on along with Munster Rugby and IrishRugby fans. You will be welcomed with open arms here Conor ! Conor was well enough to be the Munster mascot on 29/12/18 in Thomond Park which he was thrilled with and happy to meet Peter O'Mahony. If you can highlight brave Conor’s story please do ! @OpinionLine96 @EoinBearla . We do things differently in the @SocDems ...here’s Karen from @SocDemsLK branch explaining that the party has established a ‘Wellness team’ for candidates & volunteers. Canvassing/electioneering public life can often be a testing time- this initiative prioritises our well-being!

Very proud of our own @IrishLimericker talking wellness in campaigning & #politics here at the @SocDems #LE19 training day in Dublin. #Mentalhealth is such an important consideration in activism, glad we're leading on this @SocDemsLK
