General Election Candidate for Cork North West

Ciarán lives in Ballincollig with his young family.

Self Employed throughout the recent recession he knows only too well how it feels to worry constantly about meeting mortgage repayments and health & childcare costs.

As a barrister and lecturer, he wants to use his skillset to ensure that everyone has access to affordable housing, childcare and a functioning health service.

“I joined the Social Democrats to help attain this and, also due to the track records of RóisÍn Shorthall and Catherine Murphy, two of the most credible politicians in the State. Together we campaigned successfully for YES and I hope to continue this pattern of change at local level”.

If you have any suggestions about issues affecting you, your family or the local community he would love to hear from you.

“I believe that having transparent politics is extremely important. I am passionate about developing an Anti-Corruption Agency as I know it will ensure that our public bodies are being run properly.”

That place seems to exist for decoration purposes only. I needed to attend there for documents to be stamped. I tried about five different times and there was no one around.

Hard to notice Ciaran as it’s normal opening times for a town like Ballincollig are a joke

New secured & covered bike parking in @UCC.

Where once 3 people could park, now 46 can. 🧙

Even at 1730 and with no lectures on, the space is still twice as productive as it could have been before.
