Meet Fiona

I’m Fiona Levie, the Social Democrats Local Election Candidate for Killaloe in East Clare.

I am a mum of four young adults, I live in Mountshannon and have been an active member of several local community groups over the years, including the Scariff/Mountshannon Scout Group, Whitegate Camogie Club, Mountshannon Community Council and more recently Scariff Bay Community Radio.

I lecture part-time and run my own consultancy business, and I now hope to represent a voice in Clare County Council.

As a champion of women in business, I facilitate workshops for the Local Enterprise Office, and hope to highlight supports for rural business, particularly in East Clare.

I joined the Social Democrats because I finally found a party whose values aligned with mine. There has never been a female elected in my local electoral area, and I aim to change that!
