Meet Niamh

I’m Niamh Mongey, the Social Democrats Local Election Candidate for Ballyfermot-Drimnagh.

I love where I live. I have lived in the area for nearly 10 years and I am raising my young family here.

Through my work in the arts and culture and non-profit sector, I see the value of what the right resources and supports can bring to a community. I know that the Council could be doing so much more for our communities, especially when it comes to providing affordable housing, investing in community amenities and developing our public spaces.

I am running with Social Democrats because the party believes in accountability and fairness. I want to be a representative for the community, to work towards a better quality of life for those living in our city.
