Patricia has lived in the Whitehall/Santry area all her life and reared her family in the local area. Over the past 25 years Patricia has been involved in local residents and community organisations and has served on the boards of both Holy Child GNS and Maryfield College.

Patricia is community-driven and believes that funding public services, particularly in the areas of education and lifelong learning, is the foundation for a better society for all.

Every year at Halloween, Greens in our areas are damaged by bonfires, which Dublin City Council have to spend months repairing. Please report stockpiling of bonfire materials to the DCC numbers given.We are promoting a safe and enjoyable Halloween for everyone. Bonfires are illegal and we ask the public to report any stockpiled materials that they become aware of by:

Reporting ‘bonfire materials’ online at www.dublincity247.ie/

Last year we removed 600 tonnes of bonfire materials ahead of Halloween. This prevented the risk of serious injury to youngsters and damage caused by bonfires to the environment, parks, green spaces and property in the city.

It was a pleasure to attend the recent Dublin City Council Neighbourhood Awards in Parnells GAA Club. A big congratulations to Gaeltacht Park Resident’s Association and a massive thank you to all participants who give so much of their time and energy to help improve our areas.

It really is great to see DCC help in fostering pride in our local areas.

Tonight Dublin City Councillors agreed to a deferral of the vote on the O’Devaney site. Writing was on the wall for DCC management as to how this vote was going to go. Good to see some other parties agreeing with @SocDems that this is a bad deal for Dublin
