Meet Síle

I’m Síle Ní Dhubhghaill, the Social Democrats Local Election Candidate for Dundrum.

I am originally from Goatstown. I am a musician and I teach piano and harp, and am currently studying law at King’s Inns. I am a single co-parent.

Dundrum is a wonderful place to live but it needs to have accessible and affordable housing for all.

I am passionate about the importance of arts and culture for health and well-being.

I believe that free healthcare, childcare and mental health services will allow everyone to reach their full potential.

I recognize that equality and diversity in our society will enhance our warm and welcoming culture.

We have an opportunity to work towards a greener and more climate conscious society.

Community is important to me and I would be excited to work with the people of Dundrum to ensure that our homes and surroundings are safe, affordable, and accessible for all.

I believe in justice, transparency and equality for all, where everyone is supported to reach their full potential and no one is left behind.
